5 Mins Reading Time
There are lots of ways to make money on the Internet. Some of the options are legitimate and lucrative and some of the ‘opportunities’ are scams trying to gain access to your personal information. So, where do you start making money online? Well, I have a few suggestions to get you going. And all of them are vetted and legitimate.
After reading this post, you should be well on your way to making some extra money (or possibly even starting a new career) without having to leave the house. Read on for my top five ways you can make money online!
Sell Your Creative Services on Fiverr
If you have expertise as a graphic designer, illustrator, proofreader, photographer, or one of any other number of specialties, you could be making money with Fiverr. Fiverr connects freelancers to customers. And the best part is that you can set your own rate. If you don’t have a robust portfolio, set your rate low to build a work sample and increase your asking fee as is appropriate. The base rate is $5 and can be increased (by you) from there. As your client base grows, you may be able to turn your passion into your full-time gig.
Become an FBA Seller
If you’ve ever wanted to sell online but didn’t think you could handle the responsibility of packing and shipping an item every time that something sells, I’ve got a great suggestion for you. Register to become an FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) seller. FBA sellers ship their wares to Amazon in large quantities and Amazon takes care of all the heavy lifting. Naturally, they take their cut. But the up side is that you don’t have to deal with any of the legwork. Once you have sent in your items, all you have to do is continue sending in quality inventory to replenish what has sold. And, from there, you can sit back and wait for the checks to start rolling in.

Take Surveys
You’re probably not going to get rich taking online surveys but it’s certainly an easy way to make some extra cash without having to get off the couch. Sites like Swagbucks offer users the chance to make money by doing things like taking surveys, watching, videos, and even playing games. Check Swagbucks.Com for current rates and available opportunities.
Work as a Copywriter
Do you love to write? Are you great with words? If so, you may want to look into working as an advertising copywriter. Freelance copywriters can work from anywhere in the world and receive payment in US dollars. The actual work may not be as exciting as writing about something you have a passion for. But the money isn’t bad. And the ability to work from home (or anywhere) is a big selling point for a lot of people that work within the trade.
